I often get asked what is the difference between coaching and therapy.

I want to start off by saying, one can actually not compare the two as each one serves a different purpose given your specific and current situation.

Secondly, many of us might find value in both at certain stages of our lives.

So what is the difference?

To name just a few –

Therapy:
🌼Focus on the past;
🌼Entails the review of your life up to the here and now; &
🌼Reactively taking action.

Coaching:
🌼Focus on the future;
🌼Is goal orientated; &
🌼Action is taken proactively.

Coaching might also from time to time entail brainstorming suggestions together.

Coaching is a great option to start building a life where you can thrive.

In other words making your own rules and live by them 🔥
