For many years – 13 years to be exact – I would jump on the scale each morning upon awakening and my mood of the day was literally determined by the number of the scale. Through these years I have tried every fad diet, slimming tablet, and shake. From restriction and excluding certain food groups brought on a number of other ailments. More on that can of worms in later posts 😉 I made myself believe that the slimmer I get the more people will like, hang out with me, accept me, and will make me beautiful. It gave me a (false) sense of accomplishment …

How wrong was I!!

Now I know that this was my way of trying to convince myself that “𝑰 𝑨𝑴 𝑬𝑵𝑶𝑼𝑮𝑯”.

The moment I learned to start feeling more content with myself, which entailed changing the environment I was working in and learned to become vulnerable, the personal self-growth and magic started flowing towards my (continuous) journey of becoming the best version of myself. I started believing in my own sparkle again! 🌟🌟🌟

No diet can make you prettier – living your authentic self – which might mean you will be stream-up at times, really makes you stand out and beautiful!

I have learned from this experience that real beauty comes from within. It’s real confidence that makes a lady glow and absolutely beautiful.

Girls – NOW go rock that confidence! 🥂
